Counselling Services for Children and Adults

At Focusing Minds, we are pleased to offer professional counselling services for children, young people and adults who may need more specialist or complex support with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Our counselling service is delivered by our experienced associates, Rebecca and Dominic, who provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where individuals can talk openly and at their own pace.

Counselling can help children, young people and adults to develop a better understanding of themselves, explore difficult thoughts, feelings and emotions, and work through challenging experiences that may feel too difficult to manage alone.

Sometimes, people can simply feel stuck, overwhelmed or unsure about what to do next. Our counselling support provides an opportunity to explore what is happening, identify ways forward and develop greater self-awareness and emotional wellbeing.

Supporting Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing

Our counselling services can provide support for individuals experiencing a range of emotional, psychological and wellbeing difficulties. Whether someone is struggling to make sense of their feelings, dealing with difficult experiences or looking for support during a challenging period in their life, our aim is to provide a compassionate and confidential environment where they feel heard and supported.

At Focusing Minds, we believe that access to the right mental health and wellbeing support can help individuals make positive progress.

If you, your child or a young person you support could benefit from counselling, please contact Focusing Minds to find out more about our counselling services and how we may be able to help.

After a couple of bad experiences at "therapy" between the ages of 14 and 18, counselling became a trigger and red flag for me. After eventually coming round to the idea of needing help and needing to deal with my problems I found Rebecca's page and decided to give her a try. This was one of the best things I've ever done, in such a short space of time she helped me learn so much about me and what I've gone through and given me the tools to work on myself. I highly recommend her as she has a warm, comfortable environment making her easy to talk to.

I was struggling with anxiety and went to Rebecca for help. As a man I found it hard to talk about my mental health but she was so easy to talk to and helped me through a tough spot in my life. Would highly recommend talking to her as I know how hard the first step can be. (Men's mental health matters)

Rebecca made my experience in opening up so much easier! For a long time i had a hard time opening up about my struggles and kept my mental health to myself but Rebecca made it so much easier to open up. She brings a really comforting and judge free atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve known her a lifetime! I noticed a huge change in myself and my behaviours due to the sessions i’ve had!
